After riding the Tracer with the stock RP23 I agree...good on the tame stuff but KLUNK! when you're gettin' rad. So I slapped on my DHX Air 5.0 and problem solved. It allows me to run lower air pressure in the main air chamber for good small bump compliance and proper sag while I can independently adjust the end of stroke bottom out resistance with the boost valve. There you have it, Tracer is now all-mountain capable. This bike is a great addition to my fleet but not a quiver killer for me either...I don't think it's possible for my riding style. If I'm pedaling uphill for miles and miles, you won't find heavy wheels on my bike that's for sure. If I'm doing shuttles and hitting med to large jumps I like the stability of more rotating weight. Oh just change wheelsets you say? Nope, after spending 8 months on a med. Intense Slope Style I traded it in for a small---waaaaay better and I'm 5' 9".
