		<description>Thanks for the write up ! I like to call Jacksonville&#039;s Forest Park a diamond in the rough. Yes the roads are rough and yes the trails are rough. But all they need is some polishing. SOFA is involved with the city of Jacksonville&#039;s plan to create a non motorized multi use trail system which encompasses 1800 acres that will incorporate DH and Freeride only trails into the mix. The city&#039;s property is surrounded by BLM and MRA (Motorcycle Riders Association) land. Both have given the go ahead to build new and reclaim old trails. We created and opened about 3 miles of new trail this winter for the Jacksonville Bike Fest. We are currently in discussion with the city on a developing a freeride area.

The city has acquired 30k in grant money to repair the rough access road. Things are moving along and you definitely won&#039;t be hearing the last of this diamond in the rough !</description>
