Sea Otter 2008 Experience

Swag. We all love it. Yet another cool thing about Sea Otter is your chance to get cool free stuff. A number of vendors had regular drawings for product. One of these was Magura. One can always tell when free stuff is available when you see a line of people lined up. I failed to come away a winner at the Magura booth, but they had a spokes model on hand- upon completion of a market research survey you were awarded with a consolation prize: free socks.

Camelbak had their team on hand for autographed posters and stickers. Up and coming slopestyle pro-bro Andrew Taylor was present, and we finally got the official word- he is riding for Versus again this year.

Bike demos were available, and many of the vendors brought their demo fleet down for a chance to test the newest bikes as well as skills clinics put on my BikeSkills.com.
