Rebuilding 101

On Saturday I met up with the 101 crew to do my part in reclaiming the trails back from nature.

Winter took its toll on the trails, as most of the jumps were buried under a layer of water. For the unitiated, 101 is a secret jumping spot hidden in the North Bay Area where the local up and coming fast kids hone their skills. Unlike most other jumping spots, 101 has one line. A good deal of experiance is required to make it through the trails.

Today was dirt jump building 101 (haha) for me, under the masterful digger of lips, Drew Powers.

The trails are on their way back to being ridable. I'm looking forward to stepping up my skills this season and making it through 101 is at the top of my list.
