I was hoping to race this event, but due to my broken foot still being in a cast, I was stuck on the side line shooting pics. I was pretty bummed, as I think I would have done pretty well. The course is really fun, and I learned a lot just watching the guys riding the course, especially the rhythm section. However, it was a good chance for me to break in my new lens, and practice my shooting.

This is what it looks like if you don't have enough speed. The winner of the day, Drew Powers, about to come up short. (ed. note: I've just been informed that it is not possible that Drew cased the step to step gap, as he is "far to dialed." ..I'm pretty sure I heard a "twap" sound though..)
