11/8/04 "It is a sad day in the world when America can unilaterally invade another sovereign nation, rationalize it with faulty intelligence with the sole objective of coveting its assets and in that effort kill or maim millions of innocent people, subject unsuspecting military troops and civilians to the ultimate sacrifice, leave millions around the globe living lives of quiet desperation and call it democracy?" -source: www.congress.org 11/6/04 I've been laying low for the last few days, licking my wounds. We're still kind of shocked at the election results. I don't know what I thought would happen, but I guess I really gave America a lot more credit than it deserved. The country of freedom and opportunity became less free, and the same could be said for the opportunities. We're starting our gun shopping soon, but I haven't decided if I should just buy the 9mm or splurge on the assault rifle.
11/2/04 I got my vote in at the last minute. We're on the edge of our seats. Things don't look good. Plus, I added a web counter, so we can see how many of you actually visit the site. posted 10/31/04 Knee update! You can view an updated
image of my stitched up knee here. 10/28/04 A trip to the hospital and 12 stitches couldn't put a damper on another killer day of riding! If you don't like the sight of blood, you may not want to read this! All that, and I get a lesson on why I should always pack my knee pads.
10/28/04 East Bay Mountain biking, shuttle-style! Today Dan K Harris called me up and said," we've got rides to the top!" posted 10/25/2004 I'm tired of riding by myself (and no one wants to go riding with me) I just got home from an urban session at Cal-Berkeley with a riding buddy, where we ran into several other people riding as well. Not only was this the first ride I've been on in over a week, it was the first time in almost a month I have been riding with other riders. 10/24/04 More thoughts about the perfect bike. I have been thinking a lot about bikes; even more than I usually do. In my quest for the perfect bike, i have bought, ridden, and sold many bikes. 10/21/04 If Bush is re-elected for a second term, I'm going to ashamed to call myself an American. If you or anyone you know are unsure of whom you're voting for, ask them: Is your life and
the life of all your friends been improved in the last four years? If
the answer is no then vote for Kerry if a resounding yes then vote Bush.
Personally, I have been without health insurance for years. Bush hasn't done a thing to make my personal situation better. I'm betting that Kerry will. 10/17/04
My Interbike Report is finally done and posted. Enjoy. 10/13/04 We feel that it is extremely important to get out and vote this year. At this point, if you are undecided, vote anti-republican and the world will be a safer place. Seriously. 10/12/04 Interbike has come and gone. Three days of wandering and partying. It's taken me another three to begin feeling normal again. I attended the Interbike Expo once several years ago. The main difference this time I felt like I actually knew some people. I also met a lot of cool people. Most of the time I walked around by myself taking pictures, at my own pace. First on my agenda was getting a copy of Dirt Rag and seeing my work. It took me at least an hour before I gave up on just running into the Dirt Rag booth, and picked up a map...... (full interbike story, with pictures.) 10/5/04 I'm packing for Interbike! I'm totally stoked about it this year, especially since I'm on the cover of this month's issue of Dirt Rag! I promise to post some highlights when I get back! 10/2/04 I moved my drunken party rant to the archives section. I think I may rewrite it for clarity. 10/1/04 I redesigned the site. Welcome to version two-point-oh. I've got two bikes for sale.
