Spots >> Mosier

The jumps here get overgrown and beat-down every year, and every year they come back in a slightly different form.

The guys have constructed a challenging line with really tight berms, with jumps leading into them, and then right out of them. The dirt is pretty rough, making a short travel slalom bike the ideal bike for the track.

The trail starts with the small hit in the picture up top, which puts you up on the downside of the rock in the pic. You then bump over another hit that leads into the right hand berm. (see the photo to the left)

Coming out of the berm, you hit yet another hit, before bee-lining it to a 360 degree bermed corner around this tree, which the guys are calling the "toilet bowl." That's Blake in the shot below making his way around it. Note yet another jump on the exit out.

The circle around the tree is tricky. To make it out of it into the jump with speed means you have to completely rail the toilet bowl. It's damn good practice. I must have done this section alone about 20 times. Tricky!

Talk about some good practice. Here's a shot of me; I ran this section over and over, until the cows came home.

There are shovels up there for anyone that wants to lend a hand; this is only the top section as well. It should be a nice long challenging run when it's completed. See ya out there.
