More thoughts on appearing in a video...

am torn between being pleased and embarrassed to say that I made it into the video. On one hand, I'm psyched that I'm in a video. That's kind of cool. I actually have a short section in the Ashland part. The bad part: my riding was crap that day. I had just built up the .243 Racing hardtail I was riding, and hadn't spent anytime on it. In the vid, I air this dirt bank and 180 out. Let's just say that my style in the scene comes from the Jericho t-shirt I'm wearing, and leave it at that.

Enough about my sorry excuse for riding. A few others of the ihatebikes posse are in it as well. Eric "Mrrrp," Erickson has a few shots in the Portland, Oregon section, doing a few tailtaps on the River City Bicycles bank behind the shop. Brett from Klamath Falls is in it a bunch. Downhill Pro Bill Robert's stair gap on the SOU campus makes it in as well.

As for the video itself, it's fairly long. Like "Plush 2," you also get the first video packaged with the purchase of Jib 2, the original Jib is included with Jib 2 on a separate disc. You get a lot of footage for your money. This was a nice bonus. I wish I had more positive things to say about the music tracks, but they didn't get me excited to ride. Thor wrote a lot of the music himself, and while I didn't dislike it, it's not what I think of when I think of bike video tracks. It features footage of internationally known riders, as well as local riders that heard the call on the internet. It was a cool concept, and it's interesting to see the crowd of kids following the production from city to city.

Thor bills this video as his last bike video production, and in a way, this was his thank you to everyone that has supported and purchased his videos in the past. He plans on focusing more on off-road videos in the future, as the bike video market has become saturated.
