I hate bikes:

I hate bikes is a creative side project of Jason Van Horn, an Oregon native transplanted to the California Bay Area. Originally intended to be somewhat of a letter home to his former riding buddies letting them know about the cool happenings in the Bay Area, it has grown to be a creative outlet, journal, and zine. It continues to focus on documenting bike culture, and has evolved over the last two years to what it is now: a collection and archive of high quality riding photos and stories dedicated to pretty much one thing: having good times with friends riding bikes.

A painter, graphic designer, and photographer, Van Horn studied fine art, design, and photography at the University of Oregon. As he spent far to much time at the local dirt jumps(as opposed to his studies) behind the Bmx track at Autzen Stadium during this time, he continues to work in the bike industry to this day.

He (as in me) has wasted many hours in the creation of this website, so we hope you enjoy your visit to I hate bikes. Now go outside and ride your damn bike.
