Santa Cruz: DJ & Skatepark mission

It was a trip to see this neighborhood jump spot. Imagine a typical suburban
neighborhood with rows and rows of houses. Then you come upon some railroad
tracks and an empty lot with stacks of shaped dirt. I wish this was in
my backyard.

The jumps weren't exactly a destination riding spot, but
they were definitely a lot of fun. As II happen to be a native of the
Pacific Northwest, I'm still amazed that we're riding in the middle of
winter. Seriously, back home the guys won't be riding for a while. And
my boys in Colorado- I'm pretty sure they are shoveling snow off their
driveway right now.
The jumps were a great warm up for where we were headed
next: the Post Office Jumps in Aptos.
