IMBA urges mountain bikers to help preserve some of Moab’s most famous trails. A new Bureau of Land Management (BLM) plan would lease land parcels for oil and gas extraction near iconic trails such as Porcupine Rim, Amasa Back, Barlett Wash and Tusher Canyon, turning sections of trail into heavily used access roads.

Inga and I just returned from a visit to Boulder, Colorado, for a visit to IMBA headquarters.  A major topic of interest we discussed was the Valmont Bike Park.

Last week's SF Flow ride really ruffled some feathers. Anti-bike and nature groups are freaking out and calling for a full ban on bikes on areas that don't officially outlaw cycling.
